per person

Overview

Spend 10 days in three of Southern Africa’s often-overlooked yet fantastic wilderness places that pack a significant punch when it comes to luxury and big game watching away from the throng. In addition, as part of our Positive Impact project, every booking of this itinerary will include a donation of two stationery sets to the pupils of Maunga Primary School.

Begin your trip at Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park by staying at a beautiful lodge on the banks of the magnificent Zambezi River. The eco-friendly Thorntree River Lodge is located right upstream from Victoria Falls, the world’s largest curtain of flowing water. It’s one of Zambia’s most luxurious and modern lodges, with an exclusive-use boat, temperature-controlled wine collection, and private plunge pools.

Then, in Zimbabwe’s largest reserve, Hwange National Park, retreat to a magnificent acacia-forested island on the edge of an old floodplain. This vast region is home to a high quantity of buffalo and elephants. In fact, Hwange has the world’s second greatest elephant population. Because Somalisa Camp is located in a private concession, you will be able to experience walking safaris, night drives, and game watching from concealed hides, which are not permitted in the public park.

Spend three nights at the wonderful Bumi highlands Safari Lodge, located in the isolated highlands that encircle the beautiful Lake Kariba. Spend the last few days of your journey soaking in the breathtaking vistas of the lake and the Zambezi River Escarpment. Soak in the sun by Bumi’s iconic infinity-edge swimming pool, and let the breathtaking sunsets over Lake Kariba to stir your spirit.
