Day 1-4: Cape Town: The Mother City | 4 Nights

CAPE TOWN, CAPE TOWN CENTRAL, SOUTH AFRICA Arrive in Cape Town, South Africa's vibrant and bustling Mother City. The More Quarters Hotel will serve as your home base for exploring Cape Town's various attractions. This exceptional, owner-managed home is located in the lovely city area of Gardens. The MORE Quarters Hotel is conveniently positioned among the city's greatest restaurants, shops, bars, and beaches. Its casual and stylish environment is complemented by warm, personal service—step out into the busy centre of Cape Town or retire to the tranquil seclusion of your apartment. Take a day trip to Cape Point or trek up Table Mountain for an exciting vacation. Award-winning beaches; the charming Company's Gardens, which connects to the National Gallery, Natural History Museum, Planetarium, and ancient Houses of Parliament; and a first-class shopping paradise at the V&A Waterfront. Open-air concerts and picnics at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden are popular summer activities, and a wine-tasting excursion to the adjacent Cape Winelands is a well-known event. Day 5-7: Lion Sands: Untamed Africa | 3 Nights

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK, KRUGER PRIVATE RESERVES, SOUTH AFRICA After breakfast, a short flight will take you to Skukuza Airport, where you will be met by a pleasant road ride to Lion Sands River Lodge, located in the famed Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. Sabi Sands is adjacent to the world-famous Kruger National Park, forming a combined 2.7 million hectares of protected species and vegetation. animal freely roams between the two areas, resulting in one of the most biodiverse animal populations in Africa. The Lion Sands region is the heritage of three generations of family caretakers who consider it an honour to welcome you to their untamed nature home. Every day includes game drives in the morning and late afternoon with an experienced ranger and professional tracker. Meet the Big 5 as well as rarer animals such as wild dog and cheetah. Leopards are the major draw in the reserve, which has an unsurpassed track record for the frequency of sightings. Departing in the early morning mists makes the bountiful meal on return to the lodge all the more inviting. A guided bush walk, which gives a refreshingly personal perspective of the outdoors, is, of course, the finest digestion. African afternoons are made for unwinding: sit by the pool, take in the views of the Sabi River from your room, or pamper your senses at Lalamuka Spa. Enjoy community experiences in surrounding villages, Huntington and Jessica B., thanks to MORE Community Fund programmes. Visits to the Jabez Preschool and the Huntington Digital Campus are included. You'll also hear about efforts underway to assist communities get access to clean, flowing water.

Day 8-9: Victoria Falls: A Grand Lady | 2 Nights

VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE A driver will meet you at the lodge and transport you to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in time for your trip to Livingstone, Victoria Falls, Zambia. A simple cross-border road transfer brings you to a private wildlife reserve in Zimbabwe. Stanley & Livingstone Boutique Hotel will be your home for the next two nights, located just a short drive from the beautiful Victoria Falls. The hotel is a pleasant mix of old and new: there are allusions to the past personified by Victorian explorers Stanley and Livingstone, but there are also all the modern conveniences like air conditioning and private terraces. A leisurely stroll alongside 'The Smoke That Thunders' is the most peaceful introduction to the Falls. Try white-water rafting, kayaking on the Upper Zambezi, or bungee jumping for a bit extra excitement. The magnificent helicopter ride 'Flight of Angels' is highly recommended. The Elephant Hills Resort's 18-hole championship course is a short drive away for golfers. A boat tour on the Zambezi River is a great way to see the African sunset. Sip sundowners as the sky fills with flaming hues and hippos serenade you above the muted roar of the Falls. The sundowner cruise is a classic safari experience. An enlightening community tour brings you to the outskirts of Victoria Falls National Park, where the Woodlands community faces great obstacles while striving for a better existence. The visit focuses on Masuwe Primary School, where 170 students are motivated to learn despite the constraints of inadequate facilities and few resources. The MORE Community Fund has gotten involved in the implementation of substantial modifications to this resilient community school, and visitors are welcome to observe the work and meet the teachers and students.

Day 10: A Fond Farewell to Africa

After breakfast, head for Victoria Falls International Airport to say Africa farewell and resume your journey to your next destination or home. Close your eyes and feel your heart quicken as you recall the thrill of witnessing your first leopard. Mid-hunt, its muscles clenched for a lethal jump, its unique fur rippling, your pulse beating, divided between pity for its prey and admiration for its brave beauty. You are among the fortunate few whose recollections remember the unique tastes of Cape cuisine and the graceful elegance of the Winelands, as well as the roaring beauty of the Smoke that Thunders and the bright brilliance of an African sunset.
