Big 5 & Walking Safaris in Kenya
Overview
This safari includes three of Kenya’s top private wildlife sites, which you may visit in a variety of ways. Your trip begins on the Laikipia Plateau, on the rim of Africa’s Rift Valley, where you explore big game area on foot with Samburu warriors for companionship and a camel train to transport luggage between camps. Then it’s on to Porini Rhino Camp, located in Laikipia’s famed Ol Pejeta Conservancy. On your game drives and guided walks, you may expect to view a variety of species, including East Africa’s biggest population of black rhinoceros.
A flight from Laikipia will transport you swiftly and easily to your final destination, the Masai Mara. The Mara, which is home to the seasonal Wildebeest Migration, is at its most spectacular between July and November. This reserve also has a fantastic reputation for year-round game watching, and your lodging, Porini Mara Camp, is a small and intimate tented camp located in the private Ol Kinyei wildlife conservancy, a successful local Maasai-run conservation programme.
This tour is great for tourists searching for a little different safari from the mainstream since it is adventurous, incredibly comfortable, and focuses on giving a unique wildlife and culture experience. Its beautiful accommodations and outstanding service standards make it ideal for honeymooners and busy couples.
