Day 1: Arrive in magnificent Madikwe | 3 Nights

MADIKWE, SOUTH AFRICA Arrive at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and travel to Madikwe Private Game Reserve, which is located on the outskirts of the Kalahari in South Africa's North-West Province. Because of its large number of resident animals and malaria-free environment, Madikwe is regarded as one of the country's premier safari locations. You will stay at the magnificent Madikwe Safari Lodge, which is located in the heart of the reserve and offers morning, afternoon, and evening game drives in open game viewing vehicles supervised by trained, experienced rangers. Madikwe Safari Lodge welcomes children of all ages, with particular programmes designed to keep them active and teach them about the bush.

Day 2-3: Enjoy Big 5 game-viewing

Spend your days at Madikwe Safari Lodge with exhilarating wildlife drives in open safari vehicles with skilled rangers. Madikwe is a grassland and open forest habitat surrounded by rough mountain ranges and rocky hills. It is home to Africa's famed Big 5, as well as cheetahs, wild dogs, spotted hyenas, giraffes, hippopotamuses, zebras, and several antelope and herbivore species. Madikwe also has over 300 known bird species, as well as a unique mix of typical savannah creatures and more rare desert specialists. Relax after a game drive in the outdoor sitting area, which is placed on an open terrace with beautiful views of the reserve and is furnished with comfy seats and bean bags.

Day 4-5: Head to the cosmopolitan Cape Town | 2 Nights

CAPE TOWN, CAPE TOWN CENTRAL, SOUTH AFRICA After leaving Madikwe Safari Lodge, return to Johannesburg to catch a flight to Cape Town International Airport. Once in Cape Town, you'll travel to More Quarters Apartment, which is located in the centre of the city and provides a perfect base for seeing Cape Town's must-see attractions. Spend your days discovering all that Cape Town and its surrounds have to offer, including the famed Table Mountain, Robben Island, and the V&A Waterfront, as well as a plethora of world-class boutique stores and restaurants. If you wish to venture any farther, visit the wonderfully gorgeous Cape Winelands for outstanding wine tasting and gourmet dining, or the rough Cape Point Nature Reserve, located at Africa's southernmost tip and near to the penguin colony at Boulders Beach, a must-see on any family vacation!

Day 6: Say goodbye to Cape Town

Enjoy a final Cape Town breakfast before checking out of More Quarters and heading to Cape Town International Airport for your flight back home.
